eBay was using Salesforce for half a year when I joined a small team to helped the Product owner at eBay by setting up their marketing cloud, asset management in the Content Builder, bringing live several campaigns, building different responsive landingpages and creating some funnels, e.g. for a helping fund during the corona pandemic or their inhouse fulfillment program.

Netcetera PayTech CRM-less sales funnel

Netcetera Paytech products are everywhere and at the same time invisible in everyday life: the Swiss company offers digital payment solutions for banks and retail companies.

The project initially included the support of the marketing team for fair appearances. In addition to fair appearances and image videos we developed a process how visitors can schedule appointments with the sales staff. The challenge, however, was that no CRM was available at the beginning of the project.

My task was to design the entire funnel, decide on a suitable newsletter tool (Mailchimp), develop a responsive and user-friendly mail template for the marketing team, set up a landing page and implemented the entire automation process.

Later in the project we strategically participated in the selection of Salesforce as CRM, the conceptual support for the technical implementation agency and the conception of campaign content.

PayPal is one of the leading companies in financial technology and is used by over 267 million active customers worldwide.

Together with PayPal, we first developed an overarching communication strategy that draws the attention of merchants and potential partners to PayPal’s services. Testimonial videos are a building block to show the benefits of PayPal products in concrete terms. They deal with PayPal cases and the merchant stories behind them. In addition to the videos, photographs were also taken within the project, which will be used for other means of communication such as the newsletter.

I was responsible for all the necessary process steps during the organisation and implementation of two shootings. In addition to providing professional advice to the client, I also developed the video concepts, selected the shooting partners, locations, briefed everyone involved and much more. I supervised the video shootings on site, including the photo shootings. Afterwards I coordinated all content coordination with the client and external service providers.

It is not without reason that Lime is the market leader among the e-scooter rental companies in Europe – the famous „Lime Speed“ runs through all company divisions.
So we usually only got a few days‘ notice before the city launches in Germany. In order to be set up quickly and yet professionally, we developed a modern responsive WordPress template with a content builder and drove to the cities at short notice to produce content for the press release.

Dresden and Frankfurt are two examples.

My task was to develop the WordPress page and oranize shootings and create the press images.

eBay for Charity newsletter campaign

eBay for Charity is part of the regular eBay marketplace and makes it easy for people to support important causes worldwide. On November 19, 2019, eBay announced that the program had raised over $1 billion worldwide for charities around the world.

My mission was the creation and implementation of a newsletter campaign for the acquisition of new charity auctions. Since eBay for Charity could not use Salesforce, we sent the regular newsletters with responsive custom html templates via Mailchimp. For this I used the framework ‚mjml‘.

Usually pioneer communications supports (international) companies, institutions and NGOs in strategic communication, marketing and PR. However, as an agency with headquarters in Leipzig, we also want to actively shape our home country and the opinion forming in the region. In the summer of 2019, with the upcoming state elections in Saxony, we saw a special need to become active as communication experts. We initiated the #DigitalCamp19 – Democracy in plain language to bring together political actors with experts in online communication.

Our specially set up goal was to strengthen the media and communication competence of political actors in Saxony in the run-up to the state elections in order to bring more balance to the party mood that is visible online and offline. With the #DigitalCamp19 we wanted to create a one-day event that conveys the most diverse communication topics and thus offers added value and different approaches to individual problems for each participant.

My part in this event was, besides setting up a one-pager and the invitation and participant management, also the documentation of the event.

In order to draw attention to their campaigns and to have picture material available for means of communication, the Ralf Rangnick Foundation approached us with the request to take pictures of their sponsors of RB Leipzig and various partner schools.

As a photographer, I supported the foundation with the realization of a photo shooting in the premises of RB Leipzig and the postproduction of the final results.
